Responsibilities:
- Develop yearly sales targets by customer and marketing strategies to ensure the overall sales plan is achieved.
- Develop and plan visit itineraries, as required, to visit all customers and prospects to ensure maximum sales potential is achieved.
- Analyze customer and prospect’s current proposed products to determine possible applications for present and proposed products, conduct tests and evaluation of samples.
- Raise product samples as required.
- Solicit orders and when necessary, notify and assist customer service in writing orders with difficult specifications or terms.
- Train and assist customers regarding products and application.
- Review, explain and answer inquiries concerning company policy on terms such as credit, payment, warranty, service, transportation charges and ensure inclusion in all quotations to customers.
- Determine customer and prospect requirement for products including delivery schedules, order placement and lead time as such requirements relate to their production schedules, sales activities and sales forecasts.
- Recommend and participate in establishing inventory levels of components, part list and finished products as required.
- Recommendations to new applications requiring modifications or new products, and initiate, report and follow up on new product opportunities.
- Investigate customer complaints on products and services, and personally handle situations to customer and division satisfaction, obtaining other departmental assistance as needed.
- Report all competitive activities with respect to price, products, specifications, performance, service or other details that may be of benefit in guiding the development of divisional planning.
- Cooperate with Division for product quality, product improvement and market demand,
- Support service engineering
- Submit sales forecast and other management reports as requested.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related
- At least 02 – 05 years relevant working experience in Sales Manager and 02 – 05 years in Industrial/ Technical.
- Working experience is Management of Distribution Channel or OEM Sales is an advantage
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, managers/supervisors or other associates of the organization
- Ability to operate various office equipment and proficient in a variety of software programs used in the department
- Requires a thorough understanding of company products and their functions
- Requires the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Requires travel in Vietnam
- Energetic, quick learner, self-motivated, with proven sales experience
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes etc.
