PRODUCT COSTING ENGINEER – Level Manager – (Expat & Local Candidates) – Manufacturing/ Production/ QA/ QC

Responsibilities:

• Support the evolution of the global Accessory & Gear (A&G) costing framework
• Work alongside our suppliers to create, define and standardize the operations and style features commonly used in building our product range
• Utilizing GSD, specify recommended/expected methods/SMV’s used in performing these operations
• Establish GSD within our LO’s as the basis of price negotiations and pre-costing
• Maintain and update the global database as technology/style features evolve
• Play a leading role in resolving any disputes relating to SMV’s (collaborating with all global stakeholders, mainly SMV suppliers and Development teams)
• Consolidate costing data across the vertical teams and suppliers to make sure everyone is aligned and achieving consistent results
• Evolve costing tools, GSD database and costing standards appropriate to the LO
• Ensure that Development teams, who are responsible for achieving the results, have the appropriate level of costing knowledge (process, tools, cost drivers)
• Participate in and support global initiatives where applicable including factory efficiency, GSD implementation, costing standardization etc.
• Provide on demand day-to-day costing support within the Product Costing Teams

Requirements :

• Certified GSD practitioner
• Graduated university degree in clothing / bag technology and/or manufacturing/industrial engineering or comparable education
• 03 years of work experience in garment / textile industry
• 02 years of experience applying GSD in a factory environment
• Industrial Engineering background would be an advantage
• Strong understanding of cost drivers
• Strong knowledge of production garment/bag construction and manufacturing
• Expert knowledge of cost driver management  within a supplier and the entire supply chain
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Domestic and International Travel as required
