HEAD OF PRODUCTION MANAGER – Can Tho – Manufacturing/ Production/ QA/ QC

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible and accountable for the Company’s seafood processing production plant, reporting to the General Director;
• Be responsible for the manpower assessment and recruitment, production staff training, planning and organizing the production schedules.
• Be expected to establish and constantly review the production and quality control standards and develop & implement production standard operating procedures to maximise production efficiencies with minimum wastages while ensuring the health and safety regulations.
• Be responsible for the production costs. As such, be setting the productions cost targets, estimating and managing the production budgets agreed with the management and implementing the cost controls;
• Oversea the production processes, research & development and ensure compliance with good management and inventory practices;
• Be responsible in organizing the repair and routine maintenance of the whole factory;
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including but not limited to procurement, distribution and finance;
• Be responsible in the preparation and maintenance of the production reports.

Requirements:

• University Degree in food technology engineer or related
• At Least 10 years working experiences in multinational company/ import – export industry.
• Knowledge and experience in seafood processing production and manufacturing process and techniques.
• Must have knowledge of food manufacturing quality systems and standards, health and safety standards, compliances and food processing machines and equipments.
• A team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills
• Mature disposition with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Organised, meticulous and responsible, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Display a high level of initiative with ability to work independently.
• Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
• Detail oriented and high working speed, ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities
• Strong leadership capabilities, good at management, negotiable and presentation skills
• Good English skills
